5 Reasons Your Leads Wont Call You Back
1: You Didn't Follow Up Fast Enough
You are 9 times more likely to engage an internet lead if you Follow up within 5 minutes. People are used to and expect quick response time. If you don’t follow up quickly, your leads will choose another agent who does.
2: You Don’t Sound Confident
You must know your scripts and speak to your leads with confidence. It will probably take you some practice, but that’s normal. Just take your time and you’ll become more skilled.
3: You Only Called
Not everyone prefers to be called on the phone. Many people will prefer text message or email. Keep calling, but if you’re not getting responses, email your leads and send texts as well.
4: You Forgot To Leave A Voicemail
If you call and don’t leave a message it is unlikely your leads will call you back. Leave a voicemail to let your leads know who you are, how you got their number, and how to contact you.
5: No Call To Action
“Call me back”, “Visit my website”, “Look for my email”…no matter what, make sure you have a call to action in your voicemail. Sometimes the reason people aren’t calling you back is just that you haven’t asked them to.
